Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, acquired physical possession of the goods. Where multiple goods ordered in one order are delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you acquires physical possession of the last item.

Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement:

You may make the withdrawal statement by email or letter, for example. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Electronic withdrawal function

The online store also provides the clearly visible “Withdraw contract” function. It leads to the Shopify customer account, where you can sign in using the email address used for your order and a security code sent by Shopify, select the relevant order and, depending on the order status, submit a cancellation or return request. The electronic process is intended to collect the information needed to identify the contract and to confirm the request electronically. Use of this function is optional; withdrawal by email or letter remains possible.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you for the withdrawn order, including delivery costs up to the amount of our least expensive standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal statement. Because Ferrum Culina currently offers free premium standard shipping, there are normally no separately charged standard delivery costs to reimburse.

We generally use the same means of payment for the reimbursement that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. Ferrum Culina does not charge you any fees for the reimbursement.

For a sale of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever occurs first.

Returning the goods

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us, to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day return period has expired.

Return shipping costs

For a withdrawal where the goods are not defective, you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If we voluntarily provide a prepaid return label, we bear the return costs covered by that label. For valid statutory claims relating to defects, incorrect delivery or shipping damage, statutory rules apply and necessary costs of statutory remedy are not passed on to you.

Diminished value

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods only where that diminished value results from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Defects, incorrect delivery and shipping damage

The right of withdrawal exists independently of statutory defect rights. If goods are damaged, defective or incorrectly delivered, please contact ferrumculina@gmail.com and provide your order number where possible. Suitable photos can help us process visible damage, but failure to provide photos does not remove statutory rights.

Shipping Security on withdrawal

If the voluntary “Shipping Security” add-on was purchased and the entire order is validly withdrawn, the €5.00 paid for it is also reimbursed. Shipping Security is not insurance and does not restrict statutory consumer rights.
